Liebe Freunde,
wir haben die traurige Nachricht erhalten, daß unser guter Freund Gerd Kivelitz vom Kulturrat in Bochum im September verstorben ist.
Gerd hatte eine Leidenschaft für Geschichte, Literatur und Musik und eine sehr gewandte Art, dem Zuhörer diese Leidenschaft zu vermitteln.
Ein Auftritt in Gerthe ohne längeres Gespräch mit Gerd danach war nicht denkbar, gerne sind wir noch Stunden nach Auftrittsende geblieben.
Wir werden seine Erzählungen und die Diskussionen mit ihm zu politischen und sozialen Fragen sehr vermissen.
Seiner Frau Ilse und allen beim Kulturrat gilt unser tiefes Mitgefühl.
Wir waren mal wieder viel unterwegs und haben einige neue Auftrittsorte für uns entdeckt.
Unter den vielen Highlights fällt uns besonders die Kulturkneipe FLOMALA in Waren an der Müritz ein - vielen Dank an Christiane,Thomas und die ganze Crew für einen tollen Abend.
Der letzte Samstag begann dann sehr früh mit einer 7-stündigen Fahrt von Waren nach Düsseldorf, wo wir ein Fotoshooting mit der Band hatten.Anschliessend fuhren wir zum Auftritt ins Pianissimo Duisburg, für uns jedesmal schön.
Um Mitternacht ging es dann weiter zur Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Schauplatz einer großen Studenten-Tanzparty. Wir spielen im Grünen Gewölbe und haben dort bis 03.00 morgens gerockt.
Im Laufe des Monats geht auch die Arbeit am neuen Album flott weiter, manchmal ist es nicht so einfach, alle Beteiligten zur rechten Zeit am rechten Ort zu versammeln.
Frische hereingekommen ist auch ein sehr interessanter Auftritt in Essen:
Mark und Martin spielen am 19.November im Alta-Vita Social Club.

Hi Folks,
we received the sad news that our good friend Gerd Kivelitz (from the Kulturrat in Bochum) passed away in September. Gerd had a passion for history, literature and music and an eloquent manner in which to instill this passion to his listeners. His energetic and captivating narrations and his contributions to ever relevant social and political disscusions will be sorely and sadly missed!
We would like to take tjis opportunity to express our deepest sympathies to Ilse Kivelitz and all at the Kulturrat in Bochum!
We´ve been out on the road quite alot lately and have been to a few new venues!
Among the many highlights ahve been the Kulturkneipe FloMaLa in Waren a.d. Müritz - a big thanks to Christiane, Thomas & crew for a great night!

Despite the fact that last Saturday began with a seven hour drive from Waren to Düsseldorf, followed by a photoshoot then a gig in Pianissimo in Duisburg. Our gig in the Grünegewolbe in the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf was really rockin!

Hallo Leute,
Nach der Sommerpause ist es gut, wieder " on the road" zu sein,
und obwohl wir bei unseren Auftritten mit Frank Sandfort auf der Burg Linn bei den British Days & Country Fair ziemlich " irisches" Wetter hatten, war die Atmosphäre phantastisch.
Endlich haben wir auch mit der Studioarbeit weiter gemacht. Mark war in dieser Woche im Studio und hat Gitarren- und Gesangsspuren für die Titel "Lies to believe" und "Unconditional" aufgenommen.Und schon in der nächsten Woche geht es mit Gitarre und Leadvocals für "You Shine" und "Endless Promise" weiter
Chorgesänge folgen dann, bevor Martin Bass und Michael Drums einspielt. Mit etwas Glück und einer Menge harter Arbeit werden wir den Großteil der Aufnahmen vor Jahresende (!!!2010!!!) fertig haben.
Die Buchungen für unser Weihnachtsprogramm laufen auf vollen Touren, um Verwirrung zu vermeiden werden wir alle Auftritte sobald sie bestätigt sind in unseren Tourkalender aufnehmen.

The gigging has picked up after the summer and its been good to be back out on the road!
Allthough the weather turned turned very "irish" in September, it didn´t spoil the fantastic atmosphere for our performances with Frank Sandfort, at the British Days & Country Fair in Burg Linn, Krefeld!
We´ve finally commenced work on the next four songs for the new album!(YIPPEEEE!)
Mark was in the studio this week recording guitar and lead vocal tracks for "Lies to Believe" and "Unconditional", which are now are down and dusted.
The guitar and main vocal tracks for "You Shine" and "Endless Promise" will follow next week.
The vocal harmonies then follow, before Martin records the bass tracks and Michael comes in to record the drums!
With a bit of luck and alot of hard work we should have most of the recording work done before the end of the year.
The christmas Market booking is in full swing and, to avoid confusion, we will post all dates as soon as they are confirmed! We are also very pleased to confirm that Mark and Martin will be playing in the Fiddlers in Moers for Halloween!
As usual, they have been changes to the gig guide so please check out the website or send us a mail before heading out to a gig!

Hallo Leute,
Wir haben sehr viele Auftritte in den letzten Wochen gespielt. DasTucher Jazz & Blues Festival in Bamberg, mit Mattias Brödel am Schlagzeug war unser absolutes Highlight in diesem Jahr. Vielen Dank an Angi, Tanja, Mathilde und alle Anderen vom Stadtmarketing Bamberg, die sich so toll um uns gekümmert haben. Ein Riesendank auch an Wredo, Stefan und Walter vom Live Club in Bamberg , die uns gut haben klingen und aussehen lassen.
Ein weiteres Highlight war dasBoulevardfest in Herne letzten Freitag, trotz des schlechten Wetters war die Atmossphäre toll und die Resonanz des Publikums super.
Die letzten Lücken im Kalender 2010 füllen sich und schon geht das Booking für 2011 los.
Einen Teil des üblichen Papierkrams konnten wir am Tegernsee erledigen, ein guter Ort für solche Aufgaben.....
Wir hatten wieder ein Treffen mit Thomas Kässens, um die nächsten 4 Titel für das Album festzulegen
Zusätzlich zu "The Long way Round" (was auch der Titel des neuen Albums sein wird) haben wir neue Aufnahmen von "Tripping the Light Fantastic", " The Girl Who" und "Lonely Road" gemacht
Nächste Woche fangen wir mit " You Shine" und "Endless Promise" an -Stücke die Ihr schon aus unseren Liveshows kennt- sowie 2 ganz neue Stücke: "Lies to believe" und "Unconditional".
Da wir viel spielen und Weihnachten vor der Tür steht, wird das Album in diesem Jahr nicht mehr fertig werden, aber das hat ja wohl auch niemand ernsthaft erwartet..........

We´ve been busy gigging over the last few weeks! The Tucher Jazz & Blues Festival in Bamberg, with Mattias Brödel on drums, was an absolute highlight! We´d like to tahnk Angi, Tanja, Mathilde and all the boys & girls from the Stadtmarketing Bamberg who looked after so well. We would also like to thankWredo, Stefan und Walter from Live Club in Bamberg for making us sound and look so good!
We managed to fit in a few days of paperwork at the Tegernsee just outside of Münich
Yet another highlight was the Boulevardfest in Herne last friday! Despite the bad weather, there was a great turnout and a fantastic atmosphere!
As the last few blanks in our 2010 calender fill, booking for 2011 has allready started!
We´ve met with Thomas Kässens and chosen the next four songs to be recorded for the new album.
In addition to recording "The Long way Round" (which will also be the title of the new album) we´ve also rerecorded "Tripping the Light Fantastic", " The Girl Who" and "Lonely Road".
Next week we´ll be in the studio working on guide tracks for " You Shine", "Endless Promise" - tracks you may recognise from our live show - "Lies to believe" and "Unconditional", two totally new tracks!
As we will be playing alot and with christmas around the corner, it is highly unlikely that the album will be finished this year!

Mark wurde von Andrew Cadie (Broom Bezzums) und Steeplejack Records gebeten, einen weiteren Song für die im November erscheinende CD mit deutschsprachigen Volksliedern zu singen.
Wir halten euch über das Erscheinungsdatum natürlich auf dem Laufenden.Das gilt auch für die im Oktober geplante erste Singleveröffentlichung unserer neuen CD.
Zu unserer großen Freude haben wir die grade die Bestätigung für unseren Auftritt auf dem Irish Folk Festival an der Freilichtbühne Mülheim bekommen.
Craig Herbertson und seine Band sowie die Connemara Stone Company werden auch dabei sein. Termin ist der 21.August 2010.

It´s holiday time again! As we´ve been pretty busy sofar this year it will be nice to take some time to chill out and recharge the batteries!
Our festival season has been going very well and it´s nice to playing outside for a change!
We had a ball at the Fürth festival with Mark´s brother Andrew who filled in for Frankie and Mr. Michael Hahn on the drums!

Rehearsals for the Bamberg Jazz & Blues Festival, featuring Matthias Brödel on drums, will continue directly after the holidays!
Mark was asked to record another song for Andrew Cadie´s (Broom Bezzums) & Steeple Jack Records German folk album. The album should be out around November, we´ll keep you posted!
After the holidays we´ll also commence recording some new tracks for the album. The planned release date for the first single is mid October!
Just last week we recieved confirmation that the Irish Folk Festival on the Freilichtbühne in Mülheim a.d.Ruhr we will be going ahead on Saturday the 21.08.10! This is great news and even better still we´ll be playing along with Craig Herbertson and his band! Also appearing at the festival is The Connemara Stone Company!
As usual there have been changes and additions to the Gigguide so to avoid dissapointment, please check in with us before heading to a gig!

Hallo Leute,
Jetzt ist schon wieder die Ferienzeit da.
Da wir in diesem Jahr recht fleissig waren, freuen wir uns darauf, die Seele baumeln zu lassen und die Batterien neu aufzuladen.
Unsere Festival Auftritte sind bislang sehr gut abgelaufen. Wir hatten am letzten Sonntag in Fürth einen Riesenspaß mit Mark`s Bruder Andrew (der extra aus Dublin eingeflogen war, um Frankie zu vertreten)
und Michael Hahn am Schlagzeug. Ein super Gig, auf Youtube gibt es -Susanne aus Leipzig sei Dank - auch einige Beweisvideos zu sehen.
Direkt nach unserem Kurzurlaub proben wir noch mit Matthias Brödel für die Auftritte auf dem Bamberger Jazz-und Bluesfestival.

Hallo Leute,
Der Juni war ein sehr voller Monat für uns mit vielen interessant Auftritten und verstärktem Songwriting.
Unter den Highlights war unser Auftritt beim "Day of Song" in Neukirchen Vluyn mit der kompletten Band und ein Strand Gig am "Playa Pelzerhaken" an der Ostsee.
Unseren ersten Auftritt in einem fahrenden Bus und! einer Pommesbude hatten wir im Rahmen der "Extraschicht" Nacht am 19.Juni.
Die "Wirtschaftsjunioren" hatten eingeladen zu einer Rundfahrt durch das Ruhrgebiet und wir waren für die musikalische Gestaltung zuständig.
Bei diesem Wetter ist es schön, draussen zu spielen.
Unser Juli fängt an mit einem Auftritt am kommenden Samstag, 03. Juli ( ursprünglich für den 04.Juli geplant) beim Altstadtfest in Hattingen und geht weiter mit einem Band-Auftritt beim Fürth Festival am 18.Juli.
Franky wird an diesem Tag von Mark`s Bruder Andrew vertreten.Er fliegt extra für diesen Auftritt aus Dublin ein und Montag direkt wieder zurück.
Kurz vor unserem Urlaub spielen wir mit Franky beim Soester Sommer am Alten Schlachthof Soest. Ausserdem werden wir mit den Pilotspuren für unsere neue CD anfangen.
Ein kurzer Ausblick auf den August:
Wir spielen am 14.&15.als Trio mit dem Schlagzeuger Mathias Brödel drei Auftritte auf dem Jazz Festival in Bamberg. Das wird sicher musikalisch sehr interessant werden.
Wir wünschen euch noch viel Spaß bei dem tollen Wetter und natürlich auch bei der WM.
Und natürlich wie immer die Bitte, kurz in unseren Terminkalender zu schauen, bevor Ihr zu einem unserer Auftritte kommt.

Hi Folks,
well we´re over halfway through the year allready and June has been a busy month of songwriting and intensive gigging.
Among the many highlights have been the Day of Song in Neukirchen-Vluyn, the Kieler Woche and our beachside gig at the Playa Pelzerhaken!
We played a gig for the "Wirtschaftsjunioren" from Hagen as they travelled around the Ruhrgebiet taking in several of the "Extraschicht" events. It was our first time ever to play on a bus and in a chip shop...on the same night!
With the weather being so warm and all the football, it´s nice to playing a few outdoor gigs!
We have Hattingen coming up on the 3rd of July (not on the 4th as origionally planned) and the Fürth Festival two weeks later on the 18th. Mark´s brother Andrew will be joining us for the gig as Frankie can´t make it on the day!
After Fürth and just before we take holidays, we will appear at the "Soester Sommer" with Frankie in the Alte Schlachthof in Soest!
In the same week we hope commence recording pilot tracks for the new album!
Our work with the drummer Mathias Brödel will also continue in preperation for the Jazz Festival in Bamberg in August!
Allthough the World Cup hasn´t disrupted our gigs ther ahave been changes and additions so please check the gig guide before heading out to a gig!

Folks,
it´s hard to believe that half the year is over already!
Due to a few gigs that came in at short notice, the pre-production work on the songs for the new album is taking a little bit longer than we had origionally planned!
With a trip to Munich coming up, before we head to Kiel for the Kieler Woche, we are working hard to get back on schedule!
Rehearsals with Frank, Michael & Matthias Brödel have also been contiueing in preperation for the Festival season!
Our "Day Of Song" gig in Neukirchen-Vluyn, last Saturday, was amazing! A big thanks once again to Franjo Terhert and Andy & Marcus from Hellaut for a warm welcome, a fantastic stage and a rockin sound!
There have been a few changes to the gig guide! Our time slot at the Altstadtfest in Hattingen has changed and we will now be appearing on Saturday the 03.07.10 on the Untermarkt stage between 11:00 and 12:15.
Mark & Martin will be playing somewhere down around the Halle 400 area at the Kieler Woche this year! We will give you more details when they´re finalized!
The focus is on the World Cup this month which could mean lots of changes to the calender at very short notice so please check the Homepage before heading out to a gig!

Hallo Leute,
nachdem wir unsere Osterferien genossen haben waren wir sehr fleissig.
Fünf bereits fertige neue Songs und zwei im Arbeitsstadium geben uns eine gute Auswahl für das kommende Album.
Den endgültigen Zeitplan für unsere Single- und Albumveröffentlichungen werden wir hoffentlich nächste Woche haben.
Auf unserer myspace-Seite gibt es bereits die Single-Versionen von "Tripping" und "The girl who" zu hören.
Wir sind gespannt, wie sie Euch gefallen und können so endlich beweisen, daß wir wirklich an der neuen CD arbeiten......
Der Terminkalender für den Sommer füllt sich und es sind auch einige nette Festival Dates dabei.
Die Band spielt:
am 05.Juni auf dem Day of Song Festival in Neukirchen-Vluyn
am 19.Juni in der Schützenhalle in Warstein und am 18.Juli auf dem Fürth-Festival.
Special guest ist hier Marks Bruder Andrew, der extra morgens für diesen Auftritt aus Dublin einfliegt.
Leider haben wir an diesem Tag keinen Platz auf dem Stilleben-Ruhrschnellweg bekommen, aber Fürth ist doch eine gute Alternative.
Mit Franky Sandfort spielen wir dann am 23.Juli im Rahmen des Soester Sommers am Alten Schlachthof in Soest.
Nach 2 Jahren Unterbrechung haben wir endlich auch wieder die Möglichkeit, an dem Benefiz Konzert für das Friedensdorf Oberhausen teilzunehmen.
Es findet am 24.Mai (Pfingstmontag) statt, wie immer in und an Bannisters Restaurant in Mülheim.
Das Dynamische Duo -Mark & Martin spielt evtl. noch auf dem Rüfest am 13.Juni, das erfahren wir nächste Woche.
Auf jeden Fall sind wir vom 20.bis 24.Juni auf der Kieler Woche, abwechselnd im Irish Pub und an der Halle 400,
auf dem Altstadtfest Hattingen am 04.Juli und auf dem Innenstadtfest in Bad Oeynhausen am 09.Juli und mal wiederin Dülmen am 07. August.
Schaut bitte vor jedem Konzert kurz in unseren Terminkalender, da sich Termine oft ändern. Im Zweifel könnt Ihr uns natürlich auch per Mail erreichen.

Hi Folks,
Since enjoying a relaxing time over easter, our noses have been to the grindstone!
We have completed five new songs and we have one or two more in the pipeline giving us a good selection of material for the upcoming album.
Our single release has been put on hold until recording plans have been finalised! We should have more details next week!
We have put up the new single versions of Tripping and The girl who for a limited time on our MySpace page - Just to prove we have actually been recording!
The summer season is filling up nicely and we have a few nice festival gigs lined up. With more bookings coming in daily!
We are playing at the Day of Song festival in Neukirchen-Vluyn on the 05th June, with the full band.
Martin and Mark maybe playing at the Rü-Fest in Essen on the 13.06, though this has not yet been confirmed.
The band will also be appearing on the 19th of june in the Schützenhalle in Warstein
The dynamic duo will be playing in the Irish Pub and at the Halle 400 at the Kieler Woche in Kiel from the 20th-24th June. At the Altstadtfest in Hattingen on the 4th of July, at the Innenstadtfest in Bad-Oeynhausen on the 9th of July and again in Dülmen on the 7th of August.
Unfortunately we didn´t get a table at the Stilleben-Ruhrschnellweg event on the 18th of July and we will now be appearing at the Fürth-Festival in Fürth with Mark´s brother Andrew as special guest!
Frank Sandfort will be joining us in the Alte Sclachthof in Soest for the Soester Sommer on the 23rd of July.

After having to take a two year break, Mark and Martin we be playing at the benefit concert in aid of the Friedensdorf in Oberhausen on the 24th of May. The charity event takes place, as usual, in Bannisters in Mülheim! If you have time come along and please support a very good cause!

Hey Leute,
März war für uns ein vielbeschäftigter Monat! Neben den Auftritten, haben wir endlich unseren Proberaum ausgestattet und eingerichtet und intensiv an neuem Material gearbeitet.
St. Patrick´s Day in Oberhausen war verrückt und die Live Musik im „Malakov“( Zeche Carl, Altenessen) war wie immer fantastisch!
Ein anderer
Höhepunkt im März war definitiv unser „unplugged walking act“ ( Musik
ohne Stecker herumlaufend an den Tischen im Restaurant) im „Bannisters“ in Mülheim und die Show
in Brandenburg, mit Frank Sandfort in der Kneipe „Pur“! Beide Abende
ausgestattet mit Musik, tollem Buffet, sehr warmer Atmosphäre und
tierisch viel Spaß!
Über die Ostertage
machen wir Pause und beginnen wieder am 08.04.2010 im „The quiet man“ in
Bonn.
Nach einem Missverständnis mit der Homepage des „Fiddlers green“, wurde unser Auftritt am 16.04.10 in Stade bestätigt.
Am 24.04.10 werden wir nicht ,wie angekündigt im „ Fritzpatrick´s“ in Essen spielen, sondern stattdessen in „The auld triangle“ in Paderborn! Entschuldigt die Unannehmlichkeiten!
Für alle die uns trotzdem in Essen sehen möchten, denkt dran, wir spielen am Donnerstag den 15.04.10 wieder im „Malakov“, Zeche Carl in Altenessen!
Nach Ostern wollen wir der Homepage ein neues Gesicht verpassen. Einige haben vermutlich bemerkt, dass wir endlich auch die „My space“ Seite erneuert haben.

Hi Folks,
March has been a busy month! Apart from the gigs, we finally took the time to reorganize our rehearsalroom and have been working hard on some new material.
St. Patricks Day in Oberhausen was mad! The live music in Malakov (in the Zeche Carl, Altenessen) is allways fantastic!
Another definite highlight in March was our gig as an unplugged walking act in Bannisters in Mülheim
and our show, with Frank Sandfort in the Kneipe Pur in Brandenburg! Both evenings filled with music, food, the warmest of atmospheres and the mightiest craic!
We´ll take a small break over easter and commence gigging again in The Quiet Man in Bonn on the 08.04.10.
After a missunderstanding with the Fiddlers Green homepage, our gig in Stade on the 16.04.10 has been confirmed.
We will be playing in the Auld Triangle in Paderborn on the 24.04.10 and not in Fritzpatricks in Essen as advertised! Sorry for the inconvenience!
For anyone like to see us in Essen remember we will be appearing in Malakov (in the Zeche Carl, Altenessen) on Thursday the 15.04.10
After easter we are planning to give the homepage a facelift and some of you may have noticed that we have (at long last) revamped our MySpace!

Liebe Freunde,
wir haben die traurige Nachricht erhalten, daß unser guter Freund Gerd Kivelitz vom Kulturrat in Bochum im September verstorben ist.
Gerd hatte eine Leidenschaft für Geschichte, Literatur und Musik und eine sehr gewandte Art, dem Zuhörer diese Leidenschaft zu vermitteln.
Ein Auftritt in Gerthe ohne längeres Gespräch mit Gerd danach war nicht denkbar, gerne sind wir noch Stunden nach Auftrittsende geblieben.
Wir werden seine Erzählungen und die Diskussionen mit ihm zu politischen und sozialen Fragen sehr vermissen.
Seiner Frau Ilse und allen beim Kulturrat gilt unser tiefes Mitgefühl.
Wir waren mal wieder viel unterwegs und haben einige neue Auftrittsorte für uns entdeckt.
Unter den vielen Highlights fällt uns besonders die Kulturkneipe FLOMALA in Waren an der Müritz ein - vielen Dank an Christiane,Thomas und die ganze Crew für einen tollen Abend.
Der letzte Samstag begann dann sehr früh mit einer 7-stündigen Fahrt von Waren nach Düsseldorf, wo wir ein Fotoshooting mit der Band hatten.Anschliessend fuhren wir zum Auftritt ins Pianissimo Duisburg, für uns jedesmal schön.
Um Mitternacht ging es dann weiter zur Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Schauplatz einer großen Studenten-Tanzparty. Wir spielen im Grünen Gewölbe und haben dort bis 03.00 morgens gerockt.
Im Laufe des Monats geht auch die Arbeit am neuen Album flott weiter, manchmal ist es nicht so einfach, alle Beteiligten zur rechten Zeit am rechten Ort zu versammeln.
Frische hereingekommen ist auch ein sehr interessanter Auftritt in Essen:
Mark und Martin spielen am 19.November im Alta-Vita Social Club.

we received the sad news that our good friend Gerd Kivelitz (from the Kulturrat in Bochum) passed away in September. Gerd had a passion for history, literature and music and an eloquent manner in which to instill this passion to his listeners. His energetic and captivating narrations and his contributions to ever relevant social and political disscusions will be sorely and sadly missed!
We would like to take tjis opportunity to express our deepest sympathies to Ilse Kivelitz and all at the Kulturrat in Bochum!
We´ve been out on the road quite alot lately and have been to a few new venues!

Despite the fact that last Saturday began with a seven hour drive from Waren to Düsseldorf, followed by a photoshoot then a gig in Pianissimo in Duisburg. Our gig in the Grünegewolbe in the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf was really rockin!

Nach der Sommerpause ist es gut, wieder " on the road" zu sein,
und obwohl wir bei unseren Auftritten mit Frank Sandfort auf der Burg Linn bei den British Days & Country Fair ziemlich " irisches" Wetter hatten, war die Atmosphäre phantastisch.
Endlich haben wir auch mit der Studioarbeit weiter gemacht. Mark war in dieser Woche im Studio und hat Gitarren- und Gesangsspuren für die Titel "Lies to believe" und "Unconditional" aufgenommen.Und schon in der nächsten Woche geht es mit Gitarre und Leadvocals für "You Shine" und "Endless Promise" weiter
Chorgesänge folgen dann, bevor Martin Bass und Michael Drums einspielt. Mit etwas Glück und einer Menge harter Arbeit werden wir den Großteil der Aufnahmen vor Jahresende (!!!2010!!!) fertig haben.
Die Buchungen für unser Weihnachtsprogramm laufen auf vollen Touren, um Verwirrung zu vermeiden werden wir alle Auftritte sobald sie bestätigt sind in unseren Tourkalender aufnehmen.

The gigging has picked up after the summer and its been good to be back out on the road!
Allthough the weather turned turned very "irish" in September, it didn´t spoil the fantastic atmosphere for our performances with Frank Sandfort, at the British Days & Country Fair in Burg Linn, Krefeld!
We´ve finally commenced work on the next four songs for the new album!(YIPPEEEE!)
Mark was in the studio this week recording guitar and lead vocal tracks for "Lies to Believe" and "Unconditional", which are now are down and dusted.
The guitar and main vocal tracks for "You Shine" and "Endless Promise" will follow next week.
The vocal harmonies then follow, before Martin records the bass tracks and Michael comes in to record the drums!
With a bit of luck and alot of hard work we should have most of the recording work done before the end of the year.
The christmas Market booking is in full swing and, to avoid confusion, we will post all dates as soon as they are confirmed! We are also very pleased to confirm that Mark and Martin will be playing in the Fiddlers in Moers for Halloween!

Hallo Leute,
Wir haben sehr viele Auftritte in den letzten Wochen gespielt. DasTucher Jazz & Blues Festival in Bamberg, mit Mattias Brödel am Schlagzeug war unser absolutes Highlight in diesem Jahr. Vielen Dank an Angi, Tanja, Mathilde und alle Anderen vom Stadtmarketing Bamberg, die sich so toll um uns gekümmert haben. Ein Riesendank auch an Wredo, Stefan und Walter vom Live Club in Bamberg , die uns gut haben klingen und aussehen lassen.
Ein weiteres Highlight war dasBoulevardfest in Herne letzten Freitag, trotz des schlechten Wetters war die Atmossphäre toll und die Resonanz des Publikums super.
Die letzten Lücken im Kalender 2010 füllen sich und schon geht das Booking für 2011 los.
Einen Teil des üblichen Papierkrams konnten wir am Tegernsee erledigen, ein guter Ort für solche Aufgaben.....
Wir hatten wieder ein Treffen mit Thomas Kässens, um die nächsten 4 Titel für das Album festzulegen
Zusätzlich zu "The Long way Round" (was auch der Titel des neuen Albums sein wird) haben wir neue Aufnahmen von "Tripping the Light Fantastic", " The Girl Who" und "Lonely Road" gemacht
Nächste Woche fangen wir mit " You Shine" und "Endless Promise" an -Stücke die Ihr schon aus unseren Liveshows kennt- sowie 2 ganz neue Stücke: "Lies to believe" und "Unconditional".
Da wir viel spielen und Weihnachten vor der Tür steht, wird das Album in diesem Jahr nicht mehr fertig werden, aber das hat ja wohl auch niemand ernsthaft erwartet..........

We´ve been busy gigging over the last few weeks! The Tucher Jazz & Blues Festival in Bamberg, with Mattias Brödel on drums, was an absolute highlight! We´d like to tahnk Angi, Tanja, Mathilde and all the boys & girls from the Stadtmarketing Bamberg who looked after so well. We would also like to thankWredo, Stefan und Walter from Live Club in Bamberg for making us sound and look so good!
We managed to fit in a few days of paperwork at the Tegernsee just outside of Münich
Yet another highlight was the Boulevardfest in Herne last friday! Despite the bad weather, there was a great turnout and a fantastic atmosphere!
As the last few blanks in our 2010 calender fill, booking for 2011 has allready started!
We´ve met with Thomas Kässens and chosen the next four songs to be recorded for the new album.
In addition to recording "The Long way Round" (which will also be the title of the new album) we´ve also rerecorded "Tripping the Light Fantastic", " The Girl Who" and "Lonely Road".
Next week we´ll be in the studio working on guide tracks for " You Shine", "Endless Promise" - tracks you may recognise from our live show - "Lies to believe" and "Unconditional", two totally new tracks!
As we will be playing alot and with christmas around the corner, it is highly unlikely that the album will be finished this year!

Mark wurde von Andrew Cadie (Broom Bezzums) und Steeplejack Records gebeten, einen weiteren Song für die im November erscheinende CD mit deutschsprachigen Volksliedern zu singen.
Wir halten euch über das Erscheinungsdatum natürlich auf dem Laufenden.Das gilt auch für die im Oktober geplante erste Singleveröffentlichung unserer neuen CD.
Zu unserer großen Freude haben wir die grade die Bestätigung für unseren Auftritt auf dem Irish Folk Festival an der Freilichtbühne Mülheim bekommen.
Craig Herbertson und seine Band sowie die Connemara Stone Company werden auch dabei sein. Termin ist der 21.August 2010.

It´s holiday time again! As we´ve been pretty busy sofar this year it will be nice to take some time to chill out and recharge the batteries!
Our festival season has been going very well and it´s nice to playing outside for a change!
We had a ball at the Fürth festival with Mark´s brother Andrew who filled in for Frankie and Mr. Michael Hahn on the drums!

Rehearsals for the Bamberg Jazz & Blues Festival, featuring Matthias Brödel on drums, will continue directly after the holidays!
Mark was asked to record another song for Andrew Cadie´s (Broom Bezzums) & Steeple Jack Records German folk album. The album should be out around November, we´ll keep you posted!
After the holidays we´ll also commence recording some new tracks for the album. The planned release date for the first single is mid October!
Just last week we recieved confirmation that the Irish Folk Festival on the Freilichtbühne in Mülheim a.d.Ruhr we will be going ahead on Saturday the 21.08.10! This is great news and even better still we´ll be playing along with Craig Herbertson and his band! Also appearing at the festival is The Connemara Stone Company!
As usual there have been changes and additions to the Gigguide so to avoid dissapointment, please check in with us before heading to a gig!

Hallo Leute,Jetzt ist schon wieder die Ferienzeit da.
Da wir in diesem Jahr recht fleissig waren, freuen wir uns darauf, die Seele baumeln zu lassen und die Batterien neu aufzuladen.
Unsere Festival Auftritte sind bislang sehr gut abgelaufen. Wir hatten am letzten Sonntag in Fürth einen Riesenspaß mit Mark`s Bruder Andrew (der extra aus Dublin eingeflogen war, um Frankie zu vertreten)
und Michael Hahn am Schlagzeug. Ein super Gig, auf Youtube gibt es -Susanne aus Leipzig sei Dank - auch einige Beweisvideos zu sehen.
Direkt nach unserem Kurzurlaub proben wir noch mit Matthias Brödel für die Auftritte auf dem Bamberger Jazz-und Bluesfestival.

Hallo Leute,
Der Juni war ein sehr voller Monat für uns mit vielen interessant Auftritten und verstärktem Songwriting.
Unter den Highlights war unser Auftritt beim "Day of Song" in Neukirchen Vluyn mit der kompletten Band und ein Strand Gig am "Playa Pelzerhaken" an der Ostsee.
Unseren ersten Auftritt in einem fahrenden Bus und! einer Pommesbude hatten wir im Rahmen der "Extraschicht" Nacht am 19.Juni.
Die "Wirtschaftsjunioren" hatten eingeladen zu einer Rundfahrt durch das Ruhrgebiet und wir waren für die musikalische Gestaltung zuständig.
Bei diesem Wetter ist es schön, draussen zu spielen.
Unser Juli fängt an mit einem Auftritt am kommenden Samstag, 03. Juli ( ursprünglich für den 04.Juli geplant) beim Altstadtfest in Hattingen und geht weiter mit einem Band-Auftritt beim Fürth Festival am 18.Juli.
Franky wird an diesem Tag von Mark`s Bruder Andrew vertreten.Er fliegt extra für diesen Auftritt aus Dublin ein und Montag direkt wieder zurück.
Kurz vor unserem Urlaub spielen wir mit Franky beim Soester Sommer am Alten Schlachthof Soest. Ausserdem werden wir mit den Pilotspuren für unsere neue CD anfangen.
Ein kurzer Ausblick auf den August:
Wir spielen am 14.&15.als Trio mit dem Schlagzeuger Mathias Brödel drei Auftritte auf dem Jazz Festival in Bamberg. Das wird sicher musikalisch sehr interessant werden.
Wir wünschen euch noch viel Spaß bei dem tollen Wetter und natürlich auch bei der WM.
Und natürlich wie immer die Bitte, kurz in unseren Terminkalender zu schauen, bevor Ihr zu einem unserer Auftritte kommt.

Hi Folks,
well we´re over halfway through the year allready and June has been a busy month of songwriting and intensive gigging.
Among the many highlights have been the Day of Song in Neukirchen-Vluyn, the Kieler Woche and our beachside gig at the Playa Pelzerhaken!
We played a gig for the "Wirtschaftsjunioren" from Hagen as they travelled around the Ruhrgebiet taking in several of the "Extraschicht" events. It was our first time ever to play on a bus and in a chip shop...on the same night!
With the weather being so warm and all the football, it´s nice to playing a few outdoor gigs!
We have Hattingen coming up on the 3rd of July (not on the 4th as origionally planned) and the Fürth Festival two weeks later on the 18th. Mark´s brother Andrew will be joining us for the gig as Frankie can´t make it on the day!
After Fürth and just before we take holidays, we will appear at the "Soester Sommer" with Frankie in the Alte Schlachthof in Soest!
In the same week we hope commence recording pilot tracks for the new album!
Our work with the drummer Mathias Brödel will also continue in preperation for the Jazz Festival in Bamberg in August!
Allthough the World Cup hasn´t disrupted our gigs ther ahave been changes and additions so please check the gig guide before heading out to a gig!

it´s hard to believe that half the year is over already!
Due to a few gigs that came in at short notice, the pre-production work on the songs for the new album is taking a little bit longer than we had origionally planned!
With a trip to Munich coming up, before we head to Kiel for the Kieler Woche, we are working hard to get back on schedule!
Rehearsals with Frank, Michael & Matthias Brödel have also been contiueing in preperation for the Festival season!
Our "Day Of Song" gig in Neukirchen-Vluyn, last Saturday, was amazing! A big thanks once again to Franjo Terhert and Andy & Marcus from Hellaut for a warm welcome, a fantastic stage and a rockin sound!
There have been a few changes to the gig guide! Our time slot at the Altstadtfest in Hattingen has changed and we will now be appearing on Saturday the 03.07.10 on the Untermarkt stage between 11:00 and 12:15.
Mark & Martin will be playing somewhere down around the Halle 400 area at the Kieler Woche this year! We will give you more details when they´re finalized!
The focus is on the World Cup this month which could mean lots of changes to the calender at very short notice so please check the Homepage before heading out to a gig!

Hallo Leute,
nachdem wir unsere Osterferien genossen haben waren wir sehr fleissig.
Fünf bereits fertige neue Songs und zwei im Arbeitsstadium geben uns eine gute Auswahl für das kommende Album.
Den endgültigen Zeitplan für unsere Single- und Albumveröffentlichungen werden wir hoffentlich nächste Woche haben.
Auf unserer myspace-Seite gibt es bereits die Single-Versionen von "Tripping" und "The girl who" zu hören.
Wir sind gespannt, wie sie Euch gefallen und können so endlich beweisen, daß wir wirklich an der neuen CD arbeiten......
Der Terminkalender für den Sommer füllt sich und es sind auch einige nette Festival Dates dabei.
Die Band spielt:
am 05.Juni auf dem Day of Song Festival in Neukirchen-Vluyn
am 19.Juni in der Schützenhalle in Warstein und am 18.Juli auf dem Fürth-Festival.
Special guest ist hier Marks Bruder Andrew, der extra morgens für diesen Auftritt aus Dublin einfliegt.
Leider haben wir an diesem Tag keinen Platz auf dem Stilleben-Ruhrschnellweg bekommen, aber Fürth ist doch eine gute Alternative.
Mit Franky Sandfort spielen wir dann am 23.Juli im Rahmen des Soester Sommers am Alten Schlachthof in Soest.
Nach 2 Jahren Unterbrechung haben wir endlich auch wieder die Möglichkeit, an dem Benefiz Konzert für das Friedensdorf Oberhausen teilzunehmen.
Es findet am 24.Mai (Pfingstmontag) statt, wie immer in und an Bannisters Restaurant in Mülheim.
Das Dynamische Duo -Mark & Martin spielt evtl. noch auf dem Rüfest am 13.Juni, das erfahren wir nächste Woche.
Auf jeden Fall sind wir vom 20.bis 24.Juni auf der Kieler Woche, abwechselnd im Irish Pub und an der Halle 400,
auf dem Altstadtfest Hattingen am 04.Juli und auf dem Innenstadtfest in Bad Oeynhausen am 09.Juli und mal wiederin Dülmen am 07. August.
Schaut bitte vor jedem Konzert kurz in unseren Terminkalender, da sich Termine oft ändern. Im Zweifel könnt Ihr uns natürlich auch per Mail erreichen.

Since enjoying a relaxing time over easter, our noses have been to the grindstone!
We have completed five new songs and we have one or two more in the pipeline giving us a good selection of material for the upcoming album.
Our single release has been put on hold until recording plans have been finalised! We should have more details next week!
We have put up the new single versions of Tripping and The girl who for a limited time on our MySpace page - Just to prove we have actually been recording!
The summer season is filling up nicely and we have a few nice festival gigs lined up. With more bookings coming in daily!
We are playing at the Day of Song festival in Neukirchen-Vluyn on the 05th June, with the full band.
Martin and Mark maybe playing at the Rü-Fest in Essen on the 13.06, though this has not yet been confirmed.
The band will also be appearing on the 19th of june in the Schützenhalle in Warstein
The dynamic duo will be playing in the Irish Pub and at the Halle 400 at the Kieler Woche in Kiel from the 20th-24th June. At the Altstadtfest in Hattingen on the 4th of July, at the Innenstadtfest in Bad-Oeynhausen on the 9th of July and again in Dülmen on the 7th of August.
Unfortunately we didn´t get a table at the Stilleben-Ruhrschnellweg event on the 18th of July and we will now be appearing at the Fürth-Festival in Fürth with Mark´s brother Andrew as special guest!
Frank Sandfort will be joining us in the Alte Sclachthof in Soest for the Soester Sommer on the 23rd of July.

Hey Leute,
März war für uns ein vielbeschäftigter Monat! Neben den Auftritten, haben wir endlich unseren Proberaum ausgestattet und eingerichtet und intensiv an neuem Material gearbeitet.
St. Patrick´s Day in Oberhausen war verrückt und die Live Musik im „Malakov“( Zeche Carl, Altenessen) war wie immer fantastisch!
Nach einem Missverständnis mit der Homepage des „Fiddlers green“, wurde unser Auftritt am 16.04.10 in Stade bestätigt.
Am 24.04.10 werden wir nicht ,wie angekündigt im „ Fritzpatrick´s“ in Essen spielen, sondern stattdessen in „The auld triangle“ in Paderborn! Entschuldigt die Unannehmlichkeiten!
Für alle die uns trotzdem in Essen sehen möchten, denkt dran, wir spielen am Donnerstag den 15.04.10 wieder im „Malakov“, Zeche Carl in Altenessen!
Nach Ostern wollen wir der Homepage ein neues Gesicht verpassen. Einige haben vermutlich bemerkt, dass wir endlich auch die „My space“ Seite erneuert haben.

Hi Folks,
March has been a busy month! Apart from the gigs, we finally took the time to reorganize our rehearsalroom and have been working hard on some new material.
St. Patricks Day in Oberhausen was mad! The live music in Malakov (in the Zeche Carl, Altenessen) is allways fantastic!
Another definite highlight in March was our gig as an unplugged walking act in Bannisters in Mülheim
and our show, with Frank Sandfort in the Kneipe Pur in Brandenburg! Both evenings filled with music, food, the warmest of atmospheres and the mightiest craic!
We´ll take a small break over easter and commence gigging again in The Quiet Man in Bonn on the 08.04.10.
After a missunderstanding with the Fiddlers Green homepage, our gig in Stade on the 16.04.10 has been confirmed.
We will be playing in the Auld Triangle in Paderborn on the 24.04.10 and not in Fritzpatricks in Essen as advertised! Sorry for the inconvenience!
For anyone like to see us in Essen remember we will be appearing in Malakov (in the Zeche Carl, Altenessen) on Thursday the 15.04.10

Hallo Leute,
Das schlechte Wetter und einige ärgerliche Doppelbuchungen haben den Februar noch etwas kürzer als gewöhnlich erscheinen lassen.
Unser Gig mit der Power Vic Band in Wülfrath war LAUT!!!!!!! Der Schlachtruf "Power Ihr Schweine" erklang mehr als einmal und Viktor wurde seinem legendären Ruf wieder einmal voll gerecht.
Mark ist jetzt endlich Bewohner der Kulturhauptstadt 2010 Essen und bedankt sich für alle Glückwünsche zu seinem Geburtstag.
Gestern hatten wir ein echtes Highlight, einen Auftritt mit der kompletten Band in Weyhe bei Bremen. Unser Dank geht an Frau von Heesen vom Autohaus Brandt, Michael Peters von Mick & Music, Hermann Lührmann vom Weyher Theater und an Jochen, den Soundmann.
Und das nächste Highlight, die Paddy`s Day Woche, liegt ja bereits vor uns
Anbei einige Beweisfotos von unserer vermeintlichen Karnevalsflucht nach Bremen, eins dürfte klar sein: Elvis lebt.....
Neuigkeiten auch von unseren Studioaktivitäten, die Songs sind jetzt gemixt und gemastert
und wir überlegen, doch auf ein komplettes Album hinzuarbeiten und dementsprechend auch die Radiopromotion auszurichten.
Langsam füllt sich der Kalender auch ab Mai, wir werden die Termine aktualisieren, sobald die Bestätigungen für einige Optionen kommen.

Hi folks,
The weather and the odd double booking made the month of February even shorter than usual! Our gig with The Power Vic Band in Wülfrath was, as promised, LOUD!! (Power ihr Schweine!!).
Mark has just about got the move to Essen out of his system and would like to thank everyone for all the kind birthday greetings he has received!
Our gig last night in Weyhe was a real highlight thank you to all involved especially Frau von Heesen from Autohaus Brandt, Michael Peters from Mick & Music, Hermann Lührmann from the Weyher Theater and Jochen the soundman! We also have St. Patricks Day coming up next week to look forward to!
As you can see by the fotos, we didn´t quite escape the ravages of Carnival unscathed!
Our single recordings are mixed and mastered and we´ve been in contact with “die 4ma” in Dortmund regarding radio promotion.
They suggested we release a single and follow up with an album. We are seriously considering this strategy and will be making some decisions early next week!
The calendar is slowly, but surely filling up in May and for the summer season.
As we are waiting for confirmation on various options and will update the gig guide as soon as possible.

Hey Leute;
Der Januar ist schon vorüber und das Wetter hat unsere Auftritt-Aktivitäten nicht beeinträchtigt!
Thomas hat die Arbeit an „Tripping the light fantastic“ und „The girl who“ beendet.
Anfang Februar werden wir uns mit ihm treffen und die Abmischungen zu Ende zu bringen und einen Zeitplan für die Radiopromotion aufzustellen!
In den letzten paar Wochen haben wir uns mit verschiedenen Schlagzeugern getroffen und ein wenig gejammt, glücklicherweise haben wir mehrere Möglichkeiten als Ersatz für Philip.
Zwischen allem, was sonst so los war, ist Mark nach Essen umgezogen!
Außerdem hat Andrew Cadie Mark gebeten ein weiteres Lied für sein deutsches Folk-Projekt zu singen.
Wir freuen uns auf unseren Auftritt am Valentinstag, mit der „Power Vic Band“ in Wülfrath. Also wenn Ihr es laut mögt und mit uns abrocken wollt, packt Eure Ohrstöpsel ein und kommt zu „Evi´s Bistro“!
Seit einiger Zeit haben wir Kontakt zu einer Agentur in Dänemark und hoffen ein paar kleine Wochenend-Touren später dieses Jahr organisieren zu können!
Im Internet haben wir uns für 2 Tische beim „Stilleben Ruhrschnellweg“ am 18.07.2010 beworben.
Am 23.07.10 treten wir beim „Soester Sommer“ im „Alten Schlachthof“ auf.

Hi folks,
January is allready over and the weather hasn´t affected our gig activities!
Thomas has finished work on Tripping the light fantastic and the girl who.
We will be meeting at the start of February to finalise the masters and organise a timeplan for the radio promotion!
Over the last few weeks we´ve been meeting and jamming with various drummers and we think we may have found more than one substitute for Philip.
Between everything that´s been going on, Mark has moved to Essen!
And has been asked to sing another song on Andrew Cadie´s German folk project!
We are really looking forward to our gig with the Power Vic Band in Wülfrath on Valentines day! So, if you´re like it loud and you want to rock it up with us, pack your ear plugs and come on down to Evi´s Bistro!
We´ve been in contact with an agency in Denmark and are hoping to organise a few small weekend tours later this year. We are in th lottery for two tables at the Stilleben Ruhrschnellweg on the 18.07 and we will be appearing at the “Soester Sommer” in the Alte Sclachthof in Soest on the 23.07.

We spent most of October struggling with colds and flu. Although this hasn’t affected our booking activities- the Christmas market booking is nearly complete and the calendar from Jan-March next year is nearly half full.
It has, however, slowed preparations for our Christmas CD to a halt. We have been working on the pre-production for recording but it is very doubtful that we will record the CD this year!
The single mixes are also incomplete but we are hoping to have something to hear within the next few days!
Our drummer Phil has so much work on in college that he wont have much time to rehearse or play gigs with us. This puts us in the unfortunate position of having to find another drummer. We don’t want to lose Phil and are working hard to find a solution to the problem!
Andrew Cadie (Broom Bezzums) in association with Neil Grant and Jens Ewald (9aMusic), came up with the interesting idea of producing an album of traditional German & Austrian folk songs and inviting english, Scottish and irish musicians, living in Germany to record the songs. Mark was asked to sing an Austrian title called “Fein Sein”. And so we headed down to Weilerswist last week to eat cake, drink coffee, catch up on old times and….oh yeah…do a bit of recording! Its was great to see Neil, Jens and Andrew again. Ulli Joosten from `Folker´ magazine was also there to interview us about the project! More details will follow!

Another highlight in October was our Irish/ Scottish Halloween gig in the Rohrmeisterei. As we look scary enough we didn’t have to pit on any costumes! It was great night thanks again to all in Schwerte!

Hey Leute!
Wir haben uns fast den ganzen Oktober mit Erkältungen und der Grippe herumgeschlagen.
Allerdings hat das nicht unsere Buchungsaktivitäten beeinflusst und somit sind die Weihnachtsmarkt-Buchungen nahezu komplett. Der Kalender ist für Januar bis März nächsten Jahres schon halbvoll. Allerdings hat es die Vorbereitungen zu unserer Weihnachts-CD gebremst und diese zum Halten gebracht! Wir haben an einer Vorproduktion für die Aufnahmen gearbeitet, es ist jedoch zweifelhaft, dass wir die CD noch dieses Jahr aufnehmen werden!
Die Single- Abmischungen sind auch noch nicht ganz fertig aber wir hoffen innerhalb der nächsten paar Tage etwas Hörbares zu haben!
Unser Schlagzeuger Phil hat soviel mit seinem Studium um die Ohren, dass er wenig Zeit zum proben oder für Auftritte mit uns hat. Das bringt uns in die unglückliche Situation, uns einen neuen Schlagzeuger suchen zu müssen. Wir wollen Phil nicht verlieren und bemühen uns redlich um eine Lösung!

Es war toll Neil, Jens und Andrew wieder zu sehen. Ulli Joosten vom Magazin „Folker“ war auch dort, um uns zu dem Projekt zu befragen. Mehr Einzelheiten folgen demnächst!
Ein anderer Höhepunkt im Oktober war unser irisch/ schottischer Halloween-Auftritt in der „Rohrmeisterei“. Da wir ja schon beängstigend genug aussehen, mussten wir auch keine Kostüme anziehen! Es war ein toller Abend, vielen Dank nochmal an Alle in Schwerte!
Es gibt wieder einige Veränderungen in der Liste der Auftritte, also überprüft diese noch mal, bevor Ihr Euch auf den Weg zu einem Auftritt macht oder schickt uns eine email!

FOLKFESTIVAL LANGENFELD 22.08.09
Hi folks,
Over the last few weeks we have been busy catching up on all the work that piled up over the holidays.
Apart from the paperwork and booking, recording has also been continuing. The vocal tracks are complete and Frankie has also been a busy little body recording guitar tracks!
We are still missing a few takes and Frank will be in the studio again to finish recording before mixing and mastering can commence.
As you may have noticed, the delays have moved our schedule back considerably. We would like to have the singles finished earlier but, as the results of the hard work show, our patience has really paid off!
The release dates will be announced when everything is down and dusted!!
Now that one set of recordings is finished we can concentrate on our next project-the christnas CD! We have a few strenuous weeks coming up and we´re not entirely sure if the Christmas project will be finished before the Christmas markets begin. We will keep you posted!
Apologies to all the Myspace fans, as our space has been, due to a shortage of time, sorely neglected. We will try a little harder in the future!

Hey Leute,
In den letzten Wochen waren wir sehr damit beschäftigt , die Dinge abzuarbeiten, die sich während des Urlaubs aufgetürmt hatten!
Neben dem Papierkram und den Buchungsanfragen, laufen die Aufnahmen im Studio weiter.
Die Gesangsspuren sind schon vollständig und Frank hat fast alle Gitarrenspuren eingespielt, es fehlen allerdings noch einige , so dass er noch mal ran muss, um die Aufnahmen zu vervollständigen ,bevor Thomas „mischen und mastern“ kann.
Wie Ihr wahrscheinlich bereits bemerkt habt, hat die Verzögerung der Aufnahmen unseren Zeitplan für die Single-Veröffentlichung ziemlich nach hinten verschoben!
Wir hätten die Single gerne früher fertig gehabt aber wie sich das Ergebnis unserer harten Arbeit nun präsentiert, hat sich die Geduld wirklich bezahlt gemacht!
Das Erscheinungsdatum wird veröffentlicht, wenn alles in trockenen Tüchern ist. Jetzt, da wir einen Teil der Aufnahmen beendet haben, können wir uns voll auf unser nächstes Projekt, die Weihnachts-CD, konzentrieren! Wir haben ein paar straffe Wochen vor uns und sind nicht hundertprozentig sicher, ob wir das Projekt zu Ende bringen können, bevor die Weihnachtsmärkte anfangen! Wir werden Euch aber weiter auf dem Laufenden halten.
Entschuldigung noch mal an alle „Myspace“-Fans, weil wir unsere Seite aufgrund von Zeitmangel, so vernachlässigt haben! In Zukunft werden wir uns mehr um Aktualität bemühen!

Folk Festival Langenfeld 22.08.09
we´ve been chilling out on holidays for the last few weeks and are only now getting back into the swing of things!
As you can probably tell from the photos, we had a really good time at the Folk Festival in Langenfeld.
We would like to, once again, thank Mark´s brother Andrew for filling in for Frankie! A very big thank you also goes out to to Karl Beckers from Montecarlo Musicmanagement, Georg Heoff from the Schaustall in Langenfeld and last but not least the all the techs and Festival crew who worked very hard to make the day unforgetable!!

Our recording work is still continueing but has been greatly delayed due to heavy schedules on all sides.
The main vocals,acoustic guitars, bass and drums are down on all four tracks. Mark will be in the studio again next week to record harmonies and the remaining acoustic guitar. Frankie´s will be next up to record the lead guitar.
Booking for the christmas Markets is in full swing and we have also started booking for 2010.
Work on our christmas CD should be starting in October.

Bad Neustadt!
it´s been relatively quiet on the gig scene over the lasst few weeks and so we´ve using our time constructively to set up our new rehearsal room!
The Preparations for the Folk festival in Langenfeld featuring Mark´s brother Andrew are in full swing!
Recording work on our planned singles has also commenced. The studio work in Schwerte with Thomas Kässens is very relaxed and we should have a few rough mixes within the next couple of weeks!
Playing outside in the summer is also avery pleasant experience! Our gigs in the Schlacthof in Soest and last week in Bad-Neustadt a.d.Saale were no exceptions!

As you can see in the photo above, the sun was shining brightly at the Rü-Fest in Essen last saturday. Allthough our timeslot had been changed at short notice, we played one set in the afternoon and one in the early evening!
It was good to be back on a big stage and our preparations for the event paid off well!
We´d like once more to thank the great audience, all the boys and girls from Fritzpatricks and the guys from New Noise, who looked after the technical side off things, for making the day so memorable!!
On the 26th of June Mark and Martin will be appearing on the NRW-TV show- "Horné goes Music".

We have finalized details with Thomas Kässens and recording on two singles will commence in July!
And work on the Christmas CD will also start at the end of July.
Just yesterday we found out that we are opening the Rü-Fest on Saturday and will be appearing between 16:30 and 18:30 Hrs.

Summers at the door and we´re really looking forward to the Rü-Fest in Essen on the 13.th of june!
We´ve finished work on our new rehearsal room and have started gathering our recording equipment to commence work on our christmas CD which was supposed to happen last year!
Üur meeting with Thomas Kässens was a success and recording on two radio singles will commence in July.
Our summer gigs in the Irish Pub in Mainz have been cancelled amd the next gig in Mainz will be in September!

Hi Folks,
we´ve, more or less, spent the last few weeks in the car touring around!
Our band gigs last week (in Topos-Leverkusen and in the Pogs-Rhyedt), were very successful in preparation for our big day at the Rü-Fest in Essen on the 13.06.09. We have been moved to an earlier timeslot and will play between 7pm and 9pm.
The rehearsal room renovations are almost finished and we have a meeting with Thomas Kässens next week to finalize the production deal for the new album. Once we have the details ironed out, recording can commence.
Our search for an internet distributer is almost at an end and we should have more details next week!
Booking has also been continueing and the autumn/ winter calender is filling up nicely.
As usual- please check the gig guide for any changes before heading out to a gig.

Apart from all the usual things that keep us busy and out of trouble we are in the process of setting up a new rehearsal room in Herne. This should give us the chance to work on our ideas and develope our new songs! We will have to wait and see if the neighbours enjoy our music as much as we do!

The gig at the Kreuzviertal Festival on the 28.03 was fantastic and we even made it into the papers!

will not be playing for the DGB with Frankie on the 1st of May. This
sudden change of plan is due to internal problems in the DGB.

firstly we´d like to apologise for all the technical difficulties we´ve been having with the website over the last few weeks!
We seem, now however, to have everything up and running smoothly! For all the things we´ve missed...thank you in advance!
We have to say a huge thanks to Gerald Rietz for his trojan work and his undying patience with the website killers amongst us...not mentioning any names...MARK!!
Over the next few weeks we´ll be ironing out any glitschs and putting together the missing pieces, so we do ask you all once again to bare with us!
Booking is going very well with more Trio and band Gigs coming up!
We´re very pleased to report that our planned gigs in The Irish Pub in Mainz are back on. The Rotenburg-Live Kneipennacht has been confirmed as has the Lüneburg Stadtfest with Frank Sandfort!
